More than 200,000 music lovers are about to don their spirit hoodies and flower crowns for San Francisco’s popular Outside Lands music festival this weekend. That means lots of traffic, congestion and headaches for neighbors near Golden Gate Park.
Ridesharing startup Lyft is helping to combat the problem by picking people up in several music-themed vans. Lyft partnered with Outside Lands this year so attendees can banjo, karaoke or surf their way to and from the event in 10 differently bedecked party vans.
Lyft invited us inside the electronic dance music-themed van to chat with brand designer Ethan Eyler about the startup’s role in transit tech for big events. We are wearing our animal headdresses just for you in this one. Check it out!
