Logitech Drops a Bunch of Notebook Gear

Logitech is beginning to drop a barrage of gear. The first set of gear up is aimed at the notebook market. By far the most interesting product from this array is the Alto Connect (pictured above). In addition to providing a better angle on which to pound away on your computer, it also offers a four port USB hub and cable management. It’ll retail for $80 — but that’s not all!

Also launched today is the Alto Express, a clear plastic alternative to the connect that doesn’t feature a hub. It costs $50. If you decide later that you do in fact need the hub, Logitech is launching a standalone 4-port hub for $30.

The Logitech Cordless Number Pad is for those of you who mash numbers all day. Because let’s face it, numbers on laptop keyboards are irritating in large doses. It sells for $40.

Rounding out the new releases is a pair of laptop bags dubbed the Kinetik line. One low profile backpack and one briefcase. Each pack offers about a million storage compartments for practically every piece of portable electronics you can imagine or muster. Each bag is priced at $100, which is on par with most decent bags on the market.
