It's Bluetooth Music Month!

In case you’re one of the two people on this planet that hasn’t heard, the Bluetooth Special Interest Group (SIG) has declared November “Bluetooth Music Month.” What should you do to celebrate? Well you should start by buying yourself a cell phone with the Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) that lets you download songs to your phone and listen to “CD-quality” sound wirelessly through your Bluetooth stereo headset.

What’s that you say? You don’t have a set of Bluetooth stereo headphones? Man, you’re a loser. Fix that by picking up a pair from your favorite online or brick-and-mortar retailer. Models are available from Plantronics, Motorola, Bluetake and IOGear. Just look for the Bluetooth SIG’s Music icon, which means you’ll be able to send Hi-Fi stereo music wirelessly from your mobile phone, computer or other device bearing this symbol and listen using compatible speakers, headphones and home stereos.

I love the fact that people can just randomly say “this is INSERT-PRODUCT-NAME-HERE Month” and you should celebrate by giving us money, buying our products, taking your kids to such and such, etc. Tomorrow, by the way, is officially “Buy The Editors a Bottle of Maker’s Mark Day.”
